The company says climbing Kilimanjaro is challenging, and requires preparation such as strength and endurance training. Along the hike, the participants take part in safari wildlife viewing, camping, and summiting the mountain. The trip also includes access to 4×4 vehicles for use before the mountain hike.

“Kilimanjaro is hard, but with the right commitment, it’s an attainable and deeply rewarding experience,” Wil Smith, Deeper Africa’s director, said in a statement to T+L.

The excursion costs USD 10,606 (HKD 82,651.97), and the company is offering a USD 500 (HKD 3,896.47) discount for bookings made before February 15, 2025. The journey is described by the company as a “first-class climb” and includes upgraded accommodations, hot meals, and even a private shower with hot water.
