Etihad Airways’ flagship A380 aircraft has started servicing the Abu Dhabi-Singapore route, landing at Changi Airport for the first time. The milestone flight took place on February 2, 2025. The double-decker aircraft, featuring luxe in-flight offerings and The Residence — the world’s only three-room suite in the sky — will add over 700 weekly seats to the much sought-after route.

Etihad Airbus A380-800, tail number A6-API, took off from Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport (AUH) on February 1 at 10:31 pm, reaching Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) after a 6-hour, 57-minute journey. The return flight departed Singapore at 7:44 pm and landed in Abu Dhabi at 10:33 pm.

Travellers can also indulge at ‘The Lobby’ — an exclusive lounge space for first-class and business-class flyers to unwind mid-flight.
