
Chiang Mai is set to bloom with the 48th Chiang Mai Flower Festival, a three-day floral celebration from February 7 to 9, 2025. Held at the Nong Buak Hat Public Park (Suan Buak Haad), the festival unfolds under the theme: “Charm of Blossoms, Beauty of Wiang Ping Flora”.
The Chiang Mai Flower Festival 2025 promises to be a feast for the senses, showcasing a breathtaking array of local and exotic blooms. The festival’s highlight is the spectacular floral parade on February 8, 2025. Starting from the Chiang Mai Governor’s Residence and culminating at Nong Buak Hat Public Park, the parade will feature 25 stunning floral floats depicting wildlife, beloved cartoon characters, and more. Accompanying this vibrant procession will be a lively carnival featuring marching bands, traditional dancers, and captivating performances.

Venue, events, and more: All you need to know about the Chiang Mai Flower Festival

The venue, Nong Buak Hat Public Park in Chiang Mai, will host over a million flowers featuring more than 100 species of tropical and temperate plants from both local and international sources. Visitors can expect a kaleidoscope of colours with orchids, roses, peonies, tulips, marigolds, and countless other species gracing the park. On the final day of the Chiang Mai Flower Festival 2025, the judges will determine the winners of the flower show and the floral parade.
Numerous attractions await visitors inside the park, including:
- An illuminated flower garden to admire in the evenings.

- 360° photo booths
- Glow-in-the-dark body painting activities

- Flower arranging competitions
