HILTON MALDIVES AMINGIRI RESORT & SPA is a sundrenched property in paradise, set adrift in the Indian Ocean to provide travellers with a luxurious and unforgettable holiday of peaceful indulgence.
Launched just two years ago, the hotel has already developed an enviable reputation in the region and was recognised as one of the top ten resorts in the Maldives at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2024.
Making the most of an exceptional locale, Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa sits on the private Amingiri Island in North Male Atoll. The secluded and serene setting offers dramatic views of crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches that will leave visitors in awe as they gaze out across the horizon.
The resort offers an array of luxurious accommodations, including beach villas and overwater villas, each with their own private pool. Beach villas feature private terraces leading to the beach, where guests can enjoy the breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the azure waters.
Overwater villas are perched on stilts and offer a unique and intimate experience, with spacious sundecks, private pools and direct access to the lagoon, perfect for those seeking a tranquil and romantic retreat. The stilted villas provide gorgeous vistas and a sense of ultimate escapism for unparalleled relaxation.
The resort boasts easy access to some of the Maldives’ most renowned dive sites, where guests can explore the vibrant marine life and stunning coral reefs. For those seeking a deeper connection with nature, the resort offers guided snorkelling tours and dolphin-watching excursions that allow guests to surrender to the natural beauty of the Maldives.
To commemorate its second birthday, the resort has put together a week of celebrations called the Amingiri Birth-dheyh Party, a playful nod to the Dhivehi word for ‘two’ (dheyh), which promises to overflow with fun, charm and natural artistry.

“Our dedicated team has prepared a series of events celebrating not only our remarkable journey but also the beauty and local culture that inspire it,” said Gaurav Thakur, General Manager.
“We look forward to sharing these moments of joy with all our guests, whether they are discovering the soul of the Maldives for the first time or seasoned travellers revisiting their favourite retreat.”
Happy Birth-dheyh

The festivities begin on 1 July with the rhythmic beats of a boduberu performance. This traditional greeting reverberates with the essence of the Maldives and helps establish an appropriate atmosphere for a week of discovering the fascinating local culture.
Once the sun has set, visitors will be welcomed to join in the ceremonial cutting of the cake and a lively cocktail soirée. The night progresses with an incredible Beach Market buffet dinner at the Beach Shack, where the air is filled with the tantalising aromas of Maldivian cuisine. Guests also have the opportunity to savour local delicacies while being entertained by cultural performances that showcase the island’s rich heritage.
Throughout the week, visitors are encouraged to reconnect with the natural world and discover the lush undergrowth in and around the estate. A symbolic ritual awaits returning guests as they partake in a tree-planting ritual, signifying growth and acknowledging the magic and importance of shared moments. Guests will even have the opportunity to take part in a coral planting project, allowing them to participate in the preservation of marine life.
Days of pleasure

During the celebratory week, residents can exercise their imaginations on canvas with a painting competition or show off their sense of personal style with a glamorous fashion show and fashion-forward White Party.
Visitors with a palate for elevated experiences and fine dining will cherish a visit to Origin, the resort’s charismatic restaurant, for a night of gastronomic pleasure enhanced with a thoughtfully curated selection of vintage wines, Maldivian hospitality, and a touch of Italian sophistication. For something more carnivorous, an evening sampling meaty morsels at the Fire and Smoke Chef’s Table awaits guests at the Beach Shack.
Throughout the week, guests can treat themselves to a locally inspired cocktail called the Sagaafy Colada; enhanced with Maldivian spice, traditional screw-pine and fresh coconut — a birthday beverage encapsulating the essence of the island and demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and conservation.

The week-long festivities continue at the Amingiri Spa & Hammam, where Pallavi Sawant, a visiting biodynamic craniosacral therapist, shares her expertise in biodynamic craniosacral therapy to harmonise the body, mind, and soul. Drawing from Tibetan singing bowl sound therapy and dynamic chakra dance, she offers a series of transformative experiences, including guided meditations, celestial rituals and yoga classes during her residency.
Spa lovers can maximise their pleasure with the Radiance Bundle, a thoughtfully curated selection of treatments that encompass opulent hair care, revitalising skin therapy and expert pedicures.
At the Krakengiri Kids’ Club, one of the largest youth-centric spaces in the Maldives, little ones can participate in fun-filled entertainment and exciting games with their own Amingiri Birth-dheyh Party, designed especially for younger guests.

By booking now, travellers who stay four nights or more (between now and 30 September 2024) will be entitled to a half-board meal plan and a complimentary shared return speedboat transfer on board the Maldivian Bliss.
