JOURNEY INTO UNFORGETTABLE FLAVORS in unmatched destinations this autumn as The Luxury Group by Marriott International unveils its Luxury Group Dining Series, an exclusive collection of culinary and mixology experiences.

Expect dramatic dishes, surprising delights and exceptional offerings as over 55 culinary and beverage world talents present their most inspired efforts in 23 bars and restaurants across six handpicked destinations.

The new, multi-city regional dining series will run for a limited time, from September through November. The thematic series begins in Tokyo and finishes its run in Singapore. Along the way, it will touch down in Bali, Melbourne, Bangkok and Mumbai. Each installment is much more than a fine-dining experience; attendees can expect an immersive weekend packed with luxury at incredible hotels and resorts in the most desirable destinations.

The Luxury Group by Marriott International is a collection of eight of the world’s best hotel brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, EDITION, The Luxury Collection, JW Marriott, and W Hotels.

The series showcases bespoke dining events at every venue, led by a remarkable ensemble of gastronomic virtuosos spanning Asia-Pacific and beyond. In partnership with Marriott Bonvoy Moments, culinary-minded travelers can embark on unrivaled gastronomic journeys. Members can also bid for these exceptional experiences using their loyalty points.

A Journey Begins in Tokyo

From 27 through 29 September, the series will touch down in Tokyo at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo. A number of bold-faced names from The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo’s restaurants are among the weekend’s lineup of talent, including Executive Chef Teruki Murashima of Héritage by Kei Kobayashi, Chef de Cuisine Hisao Ishida from Hinokizaka, and Chef Takuji Nakano, Head Chef of Towers. 

On the menu, expect sublimely bespoke experiences paired with exquisite Château Haut-Brion wines, or a perfectly curated fresh-fish-and-sake pairing at Hinokizaka. 

Lovers of daytime dining shouldn’t miss Towers’ matcha-themed brunch. The menu represents an imaginative collaboration between Chef Takuji Nakano and Chef Vladmir Veiga, Resident Chef at Arola and one Michelin-starred LAB by Sergio Arola at Penha Longa Resort.

In the beverage space, Kentaro Wada, Head Bartender at The Bar and winner of Chivas Masters 2018 cocktail competition, and Yosuke Asano, of The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto and winner of Japan’s 2020 Bacardi Legacy competition, will present Nakasendo route-based cocktails before leading a cocktail masterclass focused on Japanese products.

The next stop in the series is Bali, from 4 through 6 October. Epicureans can relish diverse Balinese gastronomic offerings. Arne Riehn, of the Michelin-starred IGNIV at The St. Regis, Bangkok, will helm Kayuputi for 48 hours, transporting the restaurant’s unique concept to Bali. There will also be a lavish brunch featuring signature dishes from several other notable chefs.

For an immersive Balinese experience, join Spencer Patrick, once the youngest chef to receive a Michelin star. Now with two decades of Michelin star experience, Patrick directs culinary executions at the multi-award-winning Harrisons Restaurant. He will present an elevated beachfront barbeque that pairs Australian culinary techniques with top-tier Balinese ingredients.

Three mixologists from The St. Regis establishments in Singapore, Jakarta, and Bali will unite to offer expertly crafted beverages, custom pairings and guest-shift bar takeovers.

Sip at 80 Stories in Melbourne

Marking the midpoint, the series lands in Melbourne from 17 through 19 October. The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong’s Chef Angelo Aglianó, of the Michelin-starred Tosca di Angelo, brings his signature fare to a curated lunch in the award-winning Atria. The chef will also show off his skills by crafting unique hors d’oeuvres using local ingredients for ‘Indulgence Hour’ at the Lobby Lounge, a playful and luxurious reimagining of happy hour.

Cocktail enthusiasts should head to the 80th floor where Cameo, recently listed as Australia’s Best Hotel Bar, perches high above the city. 

Cameo will host the elite mixologists of The Tokyo Toranomon EDITION’s Gold Bar, consistently listed in Asia’s 50 Best Bars’ extended list, for a takeover. Leading the event is Head Bartender Hideyuki Saito, a distinguished mixologist who secured a place among the top eight contenders at the Bacardi Legacy 2017 Global Final in Berlin.

Flavor Comes Alive in Bangkok

Thai culinary experiences await from 31 October through 3 November at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok. 

The Allium welcomes Executive Chef Christian Herrgesell, of Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, who presents a refined tasting menu incorporating Lae Lay restaurant’s hallmark creations. Complementing this, Giovanni Graziadei, Beverage Director from The Singapore EDITION’s Punch Room, brings the bar’s signature libations to The Allium.

Hashiri presents a dynamic culinary journey pairing time-honored techniques with contemporary gastronomy. A four-handed collaboration unfolds between Chef de Cuisine Alvin Chew and Chef Fujisawa Nobuhiro from Mizuki at The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto.

The House of Smooth Curry hosts a partnership between Executive Chef Montri Jiratitankit, an expert in fine Thai cuisine, with 20 years of international experience, and Chef Sasha, owner of Hybrid Restaurant & Wine Bar. For elevated Chinese flavours, The Silk Road’s Chinese Chef de Cuisine Cheng Kam Sing offers a sophisticated Cantonese menu.

Mouthwatering in Mumbai

Landing in Mumbai, a city known for its gastronomic excellence, the series continues at The St. Regis Mumbai from 15 through 17 November. Expect the exceptional as Koishii is helmed by Spanish Chef Miguel Navarro of Es Fum, a Michelin-starred restaurant at The St. Regis, Mallorca, along with The St. Regis Mumbai’s culinary talent to create an unparalleled fine-dining experience.

Cassandra and Karina from Republic at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, a bar listed in Asia’s 50 Best Bars since 2022, will spearhead the mixology offerings at Koi Bar, while Seven Kitchens hosts a lavish Brunch that unites the talents of head chefs including Alessandro Piso from JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Chow Chee Meng from The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, Bhaskar Chakraborty from the JW Marriott Kolkata, Sahil Sharma from JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity, Chef Paul Kinny from The St. Regis Mumbai and Chef Golpin Sianipar from The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake.

The hotel’s authentic Indian restaurant, The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar, will showcase a Four-Hands Dinner featuring Chef Asif Qureshi from JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. 

Sweet-toothed guests can also take a patisserie masterclass led by Guest Chef Vinesh Johny or indulge in a haute couture-themed Champagne afternoon tea at The Drawing Room.

The series concludes in Singapore from 29 November through 1 December with an extraordinary lineup at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach.

Executive Chinese Chef Pak Chee Yit collaborates with Paul Lau Ping-Lui, Executive Chef of the two Michelin-starred Tin Lung Heen at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, to present a refined Chinese feast at Madame Fan. At the namesake restaurant of celebrity Chef Akira Back, discover the Akira Back Brunch Club (A.B.C); an aspiring social affair of freshly harvested sashimi and classic signatures blending modern Japanese cuisine with Korean culinary accents. 

Raise a celebratory glass at The NCO Club as Madame Fan’s Head Bartender, Chew Qing Ting, partners with W Bangkok’s Bar Sathorn team, featuring Marco Dognini. Enhancing the offerings, Cool Cats hosts live Chinese-inspired performances by prominent jazz musicians.
