The three special trains — designed exclusively for the Goa-Prayagraj route — are part of the Mukhyamantri Dev Darshan Yojana, which aims to enhance pilgrimage tourism and the spiritual well-being of Goan residents.
Open for bookings to devotees aged 18 to 60 years without significant health concerns, the first train from Goa to Prayagraj departed on February 6, with the remaining two scheduled for February 13 and 21. All travellers will receive complimentary meals on board.
Devotees will have 24 hours to explore the Maha Kumbh Mela, after which they must board the return train from Prayagraj to Goa. These trains, offering round-trip journeys, will facilitate systematic planning and exploration for travellers.
